In education and migration, IELTS is one of the most popular and respected forms of English in the world.

IELTS offers four different categories of testing English language ability for non-native speakers who wish to study or work in an English-speaking environment.

Throughout the world, over 8,000 universities, employers, and immigration organisations accept IELTS preparation since it was introduced in 1989. Candidates for IELTS are tested on their ability to use English in real-life situations.

About IELTS

Speaking

Your performance is assessed on four criteria. Fluency and coherence, lexical resource, grammatical range and accuracy, and pronunciation. Bands 0 to 9 are assigned to your Speaking results. Every whole and half band represents a level of English proficiency.

Listening

Answer 40 questions based on four recordings. You will hear four recordings, each of which contains a mix of monologues and conversations from a range of native speakers. This component includes 10 questions.

Questions include Main ideas and detailed factual information, The opinions and attitudes of speakers,The purpose of an utterance, and the ability to follow the development of ideas.

Writing

This test takes 60 minutes. It consists of two tasks.

For Task 1, the candidates are expected to write at least 150 words within 20 minutes.

Task 2 requires about 250 words and should take about 40 minutes. The Writing score is doubled as a result of T2.

Reading

The IELTS Reading test requires you to answer 40 questions in 60 minutes, so you must be fully prepared before you book your exam. In this video, I’ll show you exactly how to get the score you need in IELTS Reading.
